was killed in a single car wreck on the Ridge Road on Monday evening.
At this writing, little is known about the circumstances: evidently Gilmour was heading downhill after meeting with mine CEO Mike miller in Alleghany.
The wreck occurred about 7:30 P.M.
Gilmour had left his Richmond home that morning, meeting in Alleghany to go over briefs prepared for a court hearing scheduled for Thursday. That hearing has been postponed.
